So, wedding planners and experts, we want to hear from you: What are some wedding things that are actually not worth the money?
Maybe you think couples don’t need to send out mailed save-the-dates and should opt for digital ones instead — and it saves tons of time and $$$.
Perhaps you find many couples spend extra money to extend their cocktail hour and go all out, but really, you’d suggest keeping that time to an hour and keeping the food and drink options to a minimum.
Maybe sooo many people spend a lot ontoomuchcake, which never ends up being completely eaten and is thrown away. So, you’d recommend that couples serve a smaller cake or try a dessert table instead.
Or perhaps you feel that extras like party favors are a complete waste — and aren’t even used by guests — and couples could use their money for other wedding essentials instead.
Because apparently, party favors are NOT worth it.
