They should really give you care instructions on that thing .

Nyjah Huston won a bronze medal last week in men’s street skateboarding.

His bronze medal used to look like this:

But after a week, it looks like this:

“These Olympic medals look great when they’re brand new, but after letting it sit on my skin with some sweat for a little bit, and letting my friends wear it over the weekend. They’re apparently not as high quality as you think,” he shared on Instagram.

“I mean, look at that thing. It’s looking rough,” he continues as he shows the medal.

“Even the front is starting to chip off a little. Olympic medals maybe gotta step up the quality a little bit.”

While I would be pissed, it looks like he has a good sense of humor about it, joking, “Medal looking like it went to war and back.”

He also posted a private message that says, “Look like ya won that thing in 1982, mate.”

Ultimately, I think he learned his lesson: “I guess the medals are meant to be in cases.”
