I mean, let’s take a moment to ponder the fact that they had to remove the original episode name, “Assassination Run,” and add adisclaimerbecause someone shot at former presidentDonald Trumpa few days ago. It’s somewhat uncanny, given that the season waswrittentwo years ago.
Much has now changed in the world ofThe Boys.Neuman was ripped in half in a moment that eerily called back to Homelander’s murder of Webweaver. Kimiko French-ed (thank god for a moment of levity) before speaking (oh, we’re back to depressing). Homelander is basically left in charge of everything, with Soldier Boy teased to be coming back.
