Zoë Kravitz appeared misty-eyed while talking about fiancéChanning Tatum.#
While the two have beendatingsince 2021, they tend to keep things incredibly private. They met during thecasting processfor Zoë’s directorial debut,Blink Twice, which is set to be released on Aug. 23.#
The actor-director continued, “Making this film with you has been an awfully great adventure. Thank you for trusting me to female direct you. It’s really very cool to get to make a movie, but when you get to do it with the love of your life, it’s even cooler.”#
In newEntertainment Tonightinterviews, Zoë and Channing have spoken further about the moment. When asked why it was important for her to “acknowledge” Channing in that moment, Zoë replied, “Wow, that’s a great question, and I’m gonna cry.”#
“It’s been a really intense journey and to have a partner that supports you like that, I couldn’t have made the film without that. So I just wanted to say thank you,” she added.#
Channing was then asked about the moment in his own interview, to which hereplied, “We’re just not those people, in a way. We definitely don’t declare it — we just are it. For her to take that moment, we’ve been through a lot on this movie from the jump. Our relationship started inside the film; we were just friends that were creating something in the beginning.”#
“It was unexpected. I saw her do the notebook and writing out the names she didn’t remember to thank from the studio. I thought that was going to happen,” he added.#
