Simone Bileshas words for everyone this week.
First, sheshadedthe hell out of MyKayla Skinner after Team USA’s big win at the Paris Olympics on Tuesday.
Now, she’s responding to people who had something negative to say about her husband,Jonathan Owens, wearing her gold medal from the competition.
If you missed it, after they won, Jonathan postedan Instagram photowearing the medal while posing next to Simone.
“Witnessing history every time you step on the mat 😍🔥,” he wrote in the caption. “Congrats baby on becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history!!!! Just wow!!!! 8 of them!!!!! So thankful i was there to see it ❤️🤍💙”
But some also slammed Jonathan for wearing the medal.
“why he holding it like he won it,” one user asked.
“I’m annoyed that he’s holding it,” another wrote, “like [be fucking for real] it’s not YOURS.”
This person straight-up told him to give the medal back.
While someone else said there was “something very unsettling about [Jonathan] wearing her medal.” “Seems off,” they added, agreeing that Jonathan definitely needed to give the medal back.
Amid the backlash, Simone jumped in to defend her husband. In response to a TikTokvideocriticizing the Chicago Bears player, Simone wrote, “[The] crazy thing is, I put my medal on every single one of my family members and took pictures. So don’t ever make assumptions.”
“Like y’all are so fucking miserable,” she added. “Leave us alone.”
It’s not the first time she’s had to come to hisdefense, either. You might recall when she also stuck up for him after he was criticized for saying he didn’t know who Simone was before they started dating and referring to himself as the “catch” in their relationship.
Taking to her Instagram, Simonewrote, “Y’all are blatantly being disrespectful to my relationship and my husband. So, I’m gonna go ahead and say this one time, ‘Respectfully, fuck off.'”
“And if you keep commenting or tweeting at me, I’m just going to block you. Simple as that.”
