" I ’m Kamala Harris , and I approve this message . "

Since Kamala Harris became the Democratic nominee for president, Republicans have struggled to define her, and many of their “insults” have strangely morphed into compliments…

For example, this week, Donald Trump sat down for an interview with Elon Musk and shared his thoughts on Kamala Harris’s recentTime magazine cover.

“She’s terrible, but she’s getting a free ride,” Trump said. “I saw a picture of her on Time magazine today. She looks like the most beautiful actress ever to live… Actually, she looks very much like our great first lady, Melania.”

Then, in a recentFox News clip, former counselor to Donald Trump, Kellyanne Conway shared her take on Kamala’s rise in the polls: “Everyone is making her whatever they need her to be. She’s so good-looking, and smart, and wealthy, and funny, and close to her mom, and goes on really cool vacations and will never break your heart…”

“I’m Kamala Harris and I approve this message,” one userwrotein response to the clip.

“Didn’t know Kellyanne was working for Kamala now,” another userjoked.

“This reminds me of one of those sitcom lines where the person criticizing someone just starts complimenting until they forget what their point is,” another userwrote.

We’ll see how this strategy works out for the GOP!
