" He would not let me take his name . "

Bebe Rexhaclaims she was “threatened” and banned from a flight after speaking Albanian to a security guard.

Bebe made the claims earlier today in an emotional video on her Instagram story. “The supervisor on [German flight carrier] Lufthansa is threatening me,” she began, wiping away tears.

“I’ve been threatened because I thought the security guard was Albanian,” Bebe said over the post. “I spoke to him in Albanian asking where to get my ticket and now he is banning me from the flight.”

In a follow-up note, the singer said, “I believe this to be a hate crime because I am Albanian.”

“He would not let me take his name,” she continued. “He continued to mentally abuse me to make me feel like he was more powerful [than] he was.”

Bebe also claimed that no one else from the airline intervened. Then she reposted a fan message asking the carrier to “please” make sure she made it home safely and requesting the Munich International Airport investigate the person in question.

BuzzFeed reached out to reps for Bebe and Lufthansa for additional comment but has not yet heard back.

In the meantime, fans are sending Bebe their love and support:
