We would like to hear about any microaggressions that made you experience uncomfortable or ill at ease .

In daily interactions, members of the Latine community often face microaggressions aimed at their identity, heritage, and socioeconomic and immigration status.

We want to hear your stories involving microaggressions. For example, maybe you revealed your racial background to a coworker and they said, “But you speak English so well!”

Or even if you were born in America, they could’ve said, “But where are youreallyfrom?”

Maybe you were chatting with someone you just met, and they said, “But you don’t look Latina.”

Or maybe someone asked for your help translating a document from Spanish to English, but they didn’t even ask if you spoke Spanish…

Latine Heritage Monthis here! Join us in celebrating from Sept. 15 to Oct. 15 and support our content celebrating la cultural.
