Well, in a videosharedon Aug. 30, the Emmy Award-winning actor shared that he’s rejecting former president Donald Trump’s proposed $70,000 tax. “So,Donald Trumpwants to give me $70,000 in tax cuts per year,” he began.
“And by the way, he doesn’t want to give that to everybody, but I just read that’s the average tax break for the top 1% if Donald Trump is elected president,” Joseph said, referring to CNN’sstoryabout how the top 5% of taxpayers would get nearly half the benefit if Trump’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act is extended.
“You might say, well, he’s going to give tax breaks to everybody, but not really because of all the tax cuts — of all that money — nearly half of it is going to go to just the top 5% of people,” Joseph continued.
“Now, do I need an extra $70,000? Honestly, no. My family and I are doing fine,” Joseph said. “Do I deserve an extra $70,000? I don’t think so.”

“And look, I completely respect needing to vote for the candidate that’s going to make it easier for your family but Donald Trump isn’t that candidate.”
