Beetlejuice Beetlejuicefeatured fan favorite alums from the the 1988 film, but Jeffrey Jones was one of the actors notably absent from the final cut.

Jeffrey portrayed Charles, the patriarch of the Deetz family. WithBeetlejuicebeing one of his most famous acting credits to date, many speculated he’d reprise his role alongsideMichael Keaton,Winona Ryder, andCatherine O’Hara. Adam and Barbara Maitland (played byAlec BaldwinandGeena Davis) are also nowhere to be found due to finding a loophole and finally moving on.

In 2003, Jeffreypleaded no contestafter allegedly soliciting a 14-year-old boy to pose for explicit photos. He was sentenced to five years' probation, counseling, and registering as a sex offender for life.

The controversy continued when he failed to update his sex offender status in2004and2010, ultimately leading to his arrest in Florida and California.
