On Tuesday, Drake surprised fans by dropping 100 gigabytes of never-before-seen footage from his personal archives.
Featuring pictures, videos, and even three unreleased tracks, thenewly released content— shared via a website called100gigs.org— provides a behind-the-scenes look at Drake’s personal and professional life, including the recording process of some of his best-known albums and music videos.
Notably, onevideoshows Drake in the studio working on the track “Too Good,” which appeared on his 2016 albumViews. In the clip, his mom, Sandi Graham, can be heard questioning the inspiration behind the songs on the record and how they relate to his “relationships.”

“This [song] is more about me and Serena,” Drake said in response, presumably talking aboutSerena Williams, whom he was rumored to have datedaround 2015. “I gathered that,” his mom interjected with a laugh, prompting him to explain more about the songs inspired by his love life.
Hilariously, Sandi interrupted to remind her son that “she is seeing someone else” — presumably referring to Serena’s now-husband,Alexis Ohanian, whom shestarted dating in 2015.
We don’t know much about Serena and Drake’s rumored romance, and neither has ever explicitly discussed it. They were known to be friends, and Drake had been seen supporting Serena at tennis matches since2011. However, rumors of a relationship between them didn’t spark until August 2015, when they were seenkissing at a restaurantin Cincinnati.
“Too Good” — which ironically features vocals fromRihanna, another one ofDrake’s exes— paints the picture of a somewhat dysfunctional relationship between two people who treat each other well but still feel that their love is taken for granted.
Drake’s first verse appears to detail communication issues as distance grows in the relationship. In contrast, in the third and final verse, he seems intent on making the romance work — even if it’s more of a casual situation.
