I kind of wish well I never saw that exposure of what a spinal corduroy really looks like .

.Have you ever seen a Nevus Spilus birthmark? It’s basically just a speckled birthmark, and it looks kind of awesome.

.Pregnancy is one of the wildest natural phenomena to me. This woman is pregnant with TRIPLETS.

.What’s almost wilder to me is when pregnancy barely shows — here’s a person who’s eight months pregnant.

.Listen, I’ve made a lot of these posts, but I think this example may be one of the most interesting.

.You’re probably aware that if you accidentally cut off a finger, you may be able to sew it back on if you get to the ER in time. But I doubt you’ve ever actually seen what it looks like years later!

.Vasodilation — when your blood vessels widen to increase blood flow — can happen when you get a mosquito bite. This may not sound cool, but it looks awesome.

.Children have two sets of teeth — baby teeth and adult teeth — but did you know it’s possible to have so many extra teeth that you basically have THREE sets of teeth? Here’s an X-ray of one of those poor souls.

.You can see the veins in your hand if you hold a flashlight up to it.

.You also may be able to see bruising — aka, bloodpoolingunderneath the skin after an injury.

.Have you ever heard ofAnonychia congenita? It means you’re unable to grow nails.

.It can also happen on your toenails.

.People usually havehair whorlsaround the crown of their head, where hair grows in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction, but you can only really see them when someone has short hair. It’s even possible to have multiple hair whorls, like this boy has.

.Here, you can see how a whorl grows/is formed.

.Skin transplants look so metal to me. Because the skin is taken from another part of your body, it may tan differently, grow hair, or look different overall.

.You’ve probably noticed your fingers pruning when they’re in the water for too long — well, here’s what they look like when you’re a chronic skin picker or biter.

.Injuriescancause your nail growth to slow — in this case, only in one arm.

.Eye conditions are always fascinating to me. In this case (corectopia), this person’s pupil is off-center.

.You can also have multiple pupils in one eye.

.Dermatographia(when your skin rises up and becomes irritated where you touch it) has also always been super interesting to me.

.Here’s how much your entire hand can swell after getting a single bee sting on your knuckle.

.I’m willing to bet you’ve never seen a vein this big.

.Have you ever noticed your bodypush asplinter out? Well, it can do that with any similar small object – in this case, a snake fang.

.In fact, it might take YEARS for it to be pushed out.

.Did you know the only reason we have creases on our fingers is because we bend them so often?

.Here’s another example.

.Did you know it’s possible to have a white freckle?

.I don’t have a name for this one, but I just think it looks wild.

.This photo of a hand before and after lotion is wild to me.

.I’m pretty sure this is what Peter Parker’s spider bite looked like. (Serious note: this is probably just weird inflammation, but if you do notice red inflammation going up your arm veins after a bug bite, go to the hospital immediately).

.This person ran into a wall when they were three and killed a patch of nerves in their cheek — which can actually affect your smile!

.And finally, ever wonder what a spinal cord looks like underneath the skin? Wonder no longer.
