The FBI hasidentifiedthe man who attempted to assassinate former president Donald Trump at a Pennsylvania rally this weekend as Thomas Matthew Crooks. He killed one person and injured another two before being reportedly killed by Secret Service agents.

Here’s what we know about the gunman so far:

He was 20 and from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania.

According to voter registration recordsobtainedby the New York Times, he was a registered Republican…

…But also donated $15 to the Progressive Turnout Project on Inauguration Day in 2021.

There is little online about Crooks.

The semiautomatic rifle he used appears to have been purchased by his father six months ago.

He was a member of a local shooting club.
