The ever-delightfulOnly Murders in the Buildingis finally back for its fourth season!
But before we dive into the plot of Season 4, here’s a quick reminder of the cliffhanger at the end of Season 3:
After Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) wrap up the end of their most recent case, the audience witnesses an unexpected death: Charles' former stunt double Sazz (played byJane Lynch) is shot dead in his apartment.
Going into Season 4, the trio’s main mystery is solving which of Arconia’s West Tower residents could be guilty of murder…and if the killer was aiming for Sazz or if the real target was actually Charles.
However, that’s not the only storyline this new season is going to follow. Charles, Oliver, and Mabel also head all the way to Los Angeles where a Hollywood studio is making a film about the “Only Murders” podcast.
It’s there they meet the actors who will be portraying their likeness in the film.

Based on theSeason 4 trailer, it looks like our original trio and ouractorstrio team up together to figure out how and why Sazz died.
