Javaughn Young-White, the father of Kehlani’s 5-year-old daughter Adeya Nomi, has filed court documents alleging that the singer is in a “cult.”
BuzzFeed has obtained documents filed on behalf of Javaughn last month, where he seeks to establish paternity and get full custody. He claims that their daughter was “born through a home birth orchestrated by what I would describe as a cult that [Kehlani] belongs in.” As such, he alleges that his name is not on Adeya’s birth certificate and that the girl may not have a social security number as Kehlani “refuses” to give it to him.
“The main reason that I am filing this petition is that [Kehlani] has been involved in this cult for the past few years and it appears that this cult controls her actions and her behavior, including when it comes to the upbringing of our daughter,” the petition continues. “For example, the cult leader, who goes by the name of Neto, convinced [Kehlani] that he had a vision that I was a danger to our daughter and would kill her, and thereafter banned [Kehlani] from allowing me to see Adeya. Based on this ‘vision’ by her cult leader, [Kehlani] prevented me from seeing our daughter for months.”
After say " vision , " the petition claim that Kehlani would leave behind Adeya with " random strangers " from the rage when she was on circuit .
