The show was initially supposed to feature and be produced by Halle, but shebowed outlast month. News of her exit came shortly after it was reported thatGlenn CloseandKim Kardashianwould star alongside her on the show.
On Monday, Halle was asked about her departure at the premiere of her new Netflix spy comedy,The Union.
“You know, things happen for a reason,” shetoldEntertainment Tonight. “[But] I would have loved to have been there with those ladies.”
Halle added that she knows it’s gonna be “great,” especially considering that it’s a Ryan Murphy project.
“I mean, you know, duh,” she said, “but next time!”
While Halle didn’t discuss the specifics of her exit, Variety previouslyreportedthat it came down to a scheduling conflict.
