Chappell Roanmade her VMAs red carpet debut in a stunning, medieval-inspired look.

Not only is her outfit historically inspired, but she’s also wearingactualpieces of history!

On the red carpet, she toldMTVcorrespondent Nessa, “That robe that I had on — it’s gone — was 300 years old.”

She continued, “And then the rug that was rolled out is 600 years old.”

When Nessa said, “Don’t lose that,” Chappell said, “Girl, I won’t, ‘cause it’s rented! And that is the most expensive thing I would ever own.”

“Life is so crazy!” she added.
