You knowAubrey Plaza— but here’s something you might not know about her.

During a recent interview on Howard Stern’s SiriusXM show (viaDelaware Online), the 40-year-old actor revealed that she had a stroke at the age of 20.

“It was wild,” she recalled. “The craziest thing about it ― and kind the coolest thing about it ― it happened mid-sentence.”

Aubrey explained that the stroke occurred after she’d taken the subway to visit her friends in the Astoria neighborhood of Queens.

“I walked into their apartment ― I hadn’t even taken my jacket off ― and it just happened,” she recalled.

Aubrey describes the experience as having been “paralyzed,” but only for about a minute’s time.

“I lost my motor skills really briefly. The freakiest thing was I forgot how to talk,” she said.

Yikes! Glad she turned out to be OK.
