1.Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren

Here’s what went down: The golf starmarriedmodel Elin Nordegren in 2004, and they had two children together. But in late 2009, Woods' widely publicized cheating scandal broke, leading to their eventual divorce. Over a dozen women claimed to have had a relationship with Woods during his marriage, and Woods then checked into treatment for sex addiction, taking a break from his golfing career. He also lost a ton ofsponsorshipsdue to the affairs, though his career eventually recovered. Nordegrenwalked awaywith $100 million in the settlement.

2.Nas and Kelis

Here’s what went down: Rapper Nas and R&B singer Kelis seemed like a well-matched power couple when theymarriedin 2005. But then, in 2009, Kelis filed for divorce while pregnant with their child. Years later, in 2018, Kelis claimed that during their marriage, Nas would get black-out drunk and physically abuse her and that she would fight back. She also claimed that he cheated in the last two years of their marriage. Nasdenied theseclaims, writing on Instagram, “I do not beat women,” and also claimed Kelis was verbally abusive to his daughter and that she tried to sabotage his career.

3.Joshua Jacksonand Jodie Turner-Smith

Here’s what went down: Joshua and Jodiemarriedin 2019, but Turner-Smith ended upfilingfor divorce in October of 2023. While neither alleged infidelity, reports suggesting infidelity early in their relationship resurfaced in the wake of the news, mostly in regards to aphotoof Jackson kissing a mystery woman at LAX in June 2019.

He and Turner-Smith had gotten togetherin Octoberof the year before at Usher’s birthday party, with Turner-Smith laterrevealing,“When I first met my husband, we had a one-night stand. We’re in a two, three-year one-night stand now.” They married just months later, in August 2019. Neither addressed the cheating rumors — Turner-Smithcalled ita “losing battle” to reply to “everything that people say and people’s opinions.”

4.Ben AffleckandJennifer Garner

Here’s what went down: The two actors gotmarriedin 2005 and then split a decade later in 2015 (though they didn’t officially file for divorce until 2017). There were rumors that Affleck had cheated on Garner with their child’s nanny, Christine Ouzounian, which Affleckstrongly denied. Garner later said, “We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes.”

Here’s what went down: Jonas and Turnermarriedin 2019 and had two children together before filing for divorce in 2023. Very quickly afterward, there were multiple reports about the reasons for the split, including reports that Turner was a “party girl.” In September, Turner sued Jonas, with the suit claiming the two had an agreement for the children to return to England once Turner was done shooting her most recent project but that Jonas was now keeping their passports and refusing to return them. There were also reports that Turner heard about the divorce from the press and that the two had an explosive argument in mid-August after JonascaughtTurner doing or saying something on their Ring camera.

Jonas denied this, claiming that Sophie knew about the divorce and that filing in Florida meant the children had to stay there. Turnerlater droppedthe suit, and they came to a custody agreement.
